Guest experiences reflect a common theme: the enchanting ambiance and the delectable homemade treats. As SAM PETER notes, the “beautiful view” and “delicious food” combined with “friendly staff” creates an experience that’s hard to beat. Whether it’s the rich and creamy cheesecake or the classic apple pie that you indulge in during your visit, each bite tells a story of thoughtfulness and quality.

One of the notable features of (H)eerlijk is their commitment to sourcing ingredients from local entrepreneurs, ensuring that your meal supports the community while tantalizing your taste buds. Echoing Ties Heijma’s sentiments, the “no nonsense relaxed atmosphere” makes it feel like home away from home — a cozy spot where you can relish a peaceful afternoon with loved ones or even a good book.

Customer Korinna van Balkom perfectly encapsulates the experience: “Home made tea out of their garden, biological and honest products. We stayed at B&B (H)eerlijk for 7 nights and were totally thrilled. Corianne & Lex are the perfect hosts. We can only recommend (H)eerlijk. Everything was just perfect. By the way, you should definitely take the High Tea with Corianne, great. We would love to come back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic B&B, and I cannot emphasize enough how amazing it was. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a beautiful green environment with an absolutely breath-taking view. The rooms were not only beautifully decorated, but also surprisingly child-friendly. As a parent of a 4-year-old, I was relieved to find that numerous measures were taken to ensure that my little one could safely roam and play. The host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. He went out of his way to make my partner and I, and our child, feel at home and assisted us with anything we needed during our brief stay. The breakfast was a real highlight, consisting of a wide variety of delicious, fresh options that truly set us up for the day. If you're planning a trip to the Netherlands and looking for a tranquil, picturesque retreat, I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. You'll be treated to an unforgettable experience, complete with all the comforts of home and the warmth of genuine Dutch hospitality.

My family of 4 stayed in the loft for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The whole loft with a great shower and comfortable beds and breakfast area are fresh and inviting. The loft is up some steep stairs and there are lower exposed beams but my tall husband just ducked when needed so it's not a problem. The traditional Dutch breakfast was the best we've had with an overnight stay, Lex and Corianne were also very accommodating to my food allergies. We used the tandem bike to ride through the country side and along the canal located right in front of the B&B. It was a great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, yet close enough to drive there for a visit. We explored the North Sea beaches (although cold in March, the sand is super soft!), Dutch Grand Prix circuit, Haarlem, flower fields, and Clara Maria. Theres a lot more to see and do and Corianne and Lex are happy to give recommendations. We will be back in the summer to try Coriannes famous Apple Cake on the beautiful terrace! *Parking is on the other side of the canal, so make sure to put in the correct address they give you if arriving by car!*
